Since moving into our home in the Fall of 2018 we have slowly added the pieces we need or want to fit the new space. You can have all the furniture in the world but it most likely won’t fit a new space. With life being so busy I am focusing on doing one room at a time and updating you as we go!
First and foremost was getting Liv’s toddler girl’s bedroom completed! Her favorite color is pink so I caved and painted the walls. Other than this room, our entire house is painted white. I knew I wanted to keep the theme of contrast (white and black) in every room including hers so the pink added that feminine touch that I felt she deserved.
My style is very eclectic and I feel like this room is spot on! I typically find pieces I love and just make it work. Mixing and matching is my game when it comes to decor.
So I mixed prints on the bedding to avoid that matchy feel and blended metals and fixture colors to create depth. This little room portrays Liv’s personality to a T: sweet, artistic, bold and with a dash of princess thrown in!
One of my favorite pieces in the entire house is this custom piece of art done by my cousin specifically for this room!
This toddler girl’s bedroom turned out even better than I imagined it in my head. Liv loves her princess sheets, her book wall, life-size unicorn and hopping on her mini piano for jam sessions!

I wanted to make sure this would be a room that could grow with Liv. Not too young, not too old.
Now off to the next room… stay tuned for the next update!
Just do you,
