I am by no means a beauty expert… let’s start with that. With trial and error over many years, I have figured out what I like and dislike about makeup. One thing is for sure, I like an everyday makeup look. I’ve tried bold eyes and bold lips but then I look at pictures and feel as though I look like a clown! I just can’t quite pull it off.
Dewy, sun-kissed, and natural are what I like to go for when purchasing products and applying. I’ve gotten A LOT of messages asking what I use so I thought I would put this post together to have my go-to’s all in one place.

Before I list everything out, I have to say… If you don’t have a skincare routine… get one. Cleanse, moisturize, exfoliate, masks, and SPF. This is so important especially in your twenties because in your 30s and 40s you are fighting all the bad ways you treated your skin. I have sunspots (some of this is genetics) but I am so self-conscious of them. Since I’m not done having babies I am waiting to do some laser removal. But in the meantime, I’ve been using products like discoloration defense to help with the discoloration. I am going to start with foundation because these two are not full coverage but still leave me feeling confident and help to cover these spots!
I start by doing a tinted SPF and then Tom Ford Glow drops after I apply my moisturizer and eye cream. The glow drops give a great base for the foundation.
Foundation
Hourglass – This is like a heavy tinted moisturizer I’ve used now for several years. It’s lightweight and leaves a nice dew on the skin. Cruelty-free and will be Vegan by 2020, love that!
Tomย Ford – I recently started using this product and am obsessed, to say the least. I used to use Dior’s nude air and this goes on just like that but has a glow and is lighter in weight. Plus it doesn’t break me out, better ingredients but you pay the price $$.

Concealer
Clea de Peau– I used Chanel for years, tried several others but this takes the cake. The coverage is excellent and is super creamy. I’ve never had it cake on me!
Bronzing Stick
Milk Bronzing Stick – I randomly ordered this bronzing stick a few months ago and sweep it across my hairline and cheekbones to give some contour. It adds another level of dimension that I didn’t realize that I needed!
Setting Powder
Hourglass Setting Powder – I use this sparingly. I don’t like a matte look all over my face but a lot of people use this to set their foundation. I use it under my eyes and smile lines to set those areas so they don’t run.

Eyeshadow
Naked Palette– I am not super picky on eye shadow. The only particular is it has to have a gold and some shimmer. I lean towards golds and brown matte or shimmers. Any other color I tend to want to run to the bathroom and wipe off. I go a little heavier if it’s a date night or girls night.
Eyeliner
Chanel Eyeliner – I’ve used this for 6 years and have never tried to change. I love how smooth it goes on!
Eyebrow Pencil
Dior eyebrow styler– Me and a few friends of mine stumbled on this years ago while on a shopping trip and I’ve used it for years! It doesn’t leave lines and blends in so well. This universal brown really works for just about anyone! It takes me 5 seconds to do my brows with this, that’s why I love it so much.

Mascara
Chanel Volume – Again, I’ve used this for years and love how full this mascara makes my lashes. I always use black whatever mascara I use but I love how black the Chanel is!
Mary Kay– I continually use their volume mascara. Great quality for the price and gives the fullness and length I like on my eyelashes!
Blush
Charlotte Tilsbury– This is a nice understated blush for every day that I recently started using. I love the blend of color that this brand has given the cheek dimension.
Bronzing Powder
Hourglass Bronzing Powder– Depending on how recently I’ve done tan drops on my face, I may or may not sure a little bronzer. Just to give my highlights and neck a little more color. This powder is not super dark and has a shimmer, which I love anything with a shimmer!
Lips
Cle de Peau– I have searched for a pink nude for a LONG TIME and I finally found the one I love!! This is the first lipstick I have ever had to buy more of in a color.
Brushes
Beauty Blender– I use this to apply my foundation, concealer and blend my bronzing stick. I have used foundation brushed in the past but I love how the beauty blender leaves a dewy finishing to my skin
Cheek Brush– The bristles are super soft on this brush. It’s small so I can get more exact with the placement of my blush. I sometimes use this for bronzer too!
Makeup Bag
Stoney Clover– These bags are my new obsession. You can get on their website and customize any shape or size!

So there ya go…I keep my makeup routine super simple. 10 minutes tops and maybe 15 on a night out. I would rather spend 30 minutes in my closet picking out what I am wearing, but that’s just me!
Just do you,
Dru
